Welly, the European Robin from Hyde Park.
May 08, 2007 02:49 PM PDT
This is Welly, our little friend from Hyde Park. European Robin is easily identified by its reddish-orange face and breast. Its song is a rippling series of thin, sweet and clear warbling phrases and short trills, with abrupt halts. They live in natural woodlands, hedgerows, parks and gardens. Here is a link where you can read lots of interesting things about the European Robin : http://www.oiseaux.net/oiseaux/passeriformes/european.robin.html |
